GREAT COMPETITION FOR ALL LEVELS
The Women's Europeans (SWEC) is open to sailors from all countries. Teams do not need to qualify. Skipper and crews do not need to be from the same country.
After many years without a Women's European Championship, the Belgian Snipe Class hosted the event in 2019 on Lake Galgenweel in Antwerp with 21 teams from 10 countries and the hosted the Championship in 2022 with 22 teams from 9 countries and 3 continents.
In 2024, the SWEC was be hosted by Spain at the the Real Club Maritimo in Melilla on the coast of North Africa.

Regatta Venue
SEILFORENING TØNSBERG
SCIRA Norway is excited to host the 2026 SWEC in Tønsberg, Norway. Tønsberg is about an hour 1.5 hour drive from Oslo.
There is also the option to take the train.
The Seilforening Tønsberg will host the Championship. The club is host to many important regattas for both keelboat and dinghy classes.
Summer is sunny in Tønsberg with average daytime temperatures ranging from 17C - 20C (63F - 68F). The temperature can drop during the night to as low as 11C (52'F).
Bring sailing clothing for cool water.
